Beaches in Croatia are mostly rocky, which you can see almost in the entire Mediterranean. However, because of this, you can enjoy the crystal turquoise waters of the Adriatic Sea.
Not surprisingly Croatia has been declared as one of the countries with the cleanest beaches in the Mediterranean.

- Saharun (Dugi otok) -gorgeous beach...the color of the water is as blue as it is in the Caribbean and is quite unique for the Adriatic Sea.
- Uvala Lapad Beach (Dubrovnik) - located near the old city of Dubrovnik and can be reached by bus 6 in 10 minutes.
- Beach of Sunj (Lopud Island)
- Prapratno Beach (Peljesac) - surrounded by pine and olive trees, its warm and shallow water makes it suitable for families with children. This beach is may be one of the best beaches on the Adriatic Coast. But do not be shocked if you see nudists around the beach because recently due to the clean water and secluded beaches they have chosen to sunbath there.
- Vela Przina (Korcula) - this beach is popular for tourists, so go early to ensure your place.
- Mlaska (Hvar) - this beach has shallow waters, which makes it suitable for families with children.
- Saldun Bay (Trogir) - this place has a marina, as well as bars and restaurants. There you can enjoy water sports and diving.
- Solaris Beach Resort (Sibenik) - great place, if you like massage - this is the beach you are looking for. There is a small ethnic village not far from the beach, where you can enjoy delicious dishes of the traditional Croatian cuisine.
- Ninska Laguna (Nin) - the lagoon is located near Zadar and it is made up of sand and clay, one beautiful beach there is Kraljicina plaza, known as "Queen's Beach. One of the appealing features of the lagoon is the healing clay, another is the wind proper for flying kites and windsurfing.
